A safe place where growth, connection and healing can flourish

Our Services

  • Lego Batman and Lego Superman figurines standing on a concrete surface, with Batman holding an ice cream cone and Superman holding a green lightsaber, both smiling with capes flowing behind them.

    Play Development

In Play Development or Directive Therapy, children build the foundations of pretend play, which supports emotional regulation, problem-solving, confidence and connection.
Play Development offers gentle guidance from the therapist to support growth in specific skill areas, while still honouring the child’s lead, pace and sense of safety.

  • Various plush toys including a gray bunny, a white doll with a gold crown, a brown bear, and a green dinosaur with brown spikes, placed on and beside a light green and white striped box on a beige carpeted floor against a plain white wall.

    Child Play Therapy

Play therapy is an evidence-based, holistic wellbeing intervention that helps children feel safe, seen and understood.
Rather than “fixing” behaviour, it nurtures the whole child; their emotions, their confidence, and their inner world.
The child leads the play, and the therapist follows with attuned support, creating a space where healing can happen in a way that feels natural, safe and empowering.

  • LEGO figures of Star Wars stormtroopers, R2-D2, and a LEGO person riding a bicycle on a gravel surface with a blurred outdoor background.

Family Play Therapy & Parenting Support

Family Play therapy strengthens the bond between parent and child by building connection, emotional safety and confidence within the relationship.
Parents are supported to use therapeutic play skills at home, helping their child feel understood, regulated and secure.
This approach is holistic and relationship-centred; the therapist guides the parent, so the healing continues in the everyday moments where it matters most.

Meet the therapist

Hi there, I’m Kat and I’m so glad you’re here.

I am a Masters-qualified Child Play Therapist with over 15 years experience working in early childhood settings, kindergartens and schools as both a teacher and mentor. I am also a parent to three young children, so I understand first-hand the emotional weight of caring, worrying, and wanting to support a child in a way that is right for them.

My approach is gentle, relational and attuned. I believe children grow best when they feel safe, seen and understood, and that parents and carers deserve to feel supported too. In my work, I walk alongside families, creating a therapeutic space that honours the whole child and the whole system around them.
